Implementation Bodies: 1. Project Management Cell (PMC): A “Project Management Cell” (PMC) is responsible to undertake the day-to-day activities of the project under overall supervision of the Co-Management Board (CMB).The PMC will also evaluate funding requests made by local institutions and NGOs as well as individuals. The members of PMC are National Project Manager (NPM), Deputy National Project Manager (DNPM), CTA (Chief Technical Advisor) and three community representatives including one woman from local people. The PMC meeting will held twice in a month and chaired by NPM. 2. The Co-Management Board (CMB)At the level of political decision makers, a “Co-management Board” (CMB) has been formed. The members of the board are National Project Director (NPD), Director General of Provincial Natural Resources (as the co-chair), CTA, Governor General (or his/her representative), MPO (Management and Planning Organization), MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), NIOPDC (National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company), RWO (Regional Water Organization), UNDP, NGOs representative and NPM. The CMB only play an advisory and support role. The CMB meetings will be held on a bi- monthly basis. The NPD and NPM act as the Chairperson and as the Secretary of the board respectively.
